SEPTEMBER:The Science Month Celebration

This year's theme for the nationwide celebration of the Science Month is "Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development".How the different aspects/parts of Science can help for our country's development.We are living in a society that depends on Science and Technology in which anyone hardly knows about this.Science Club lined up a series of activities to mark the occassion.Some of the contests have already done.
The celebration has for it's theme:Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development.Poster making,slogan contest,science quiz bee,essay writing contest,Ginoo at Mutya ng Kalikasan are some of the contests that have already done during this past few weeks.Investigatory project,noise barrage etc ....are some of the contests that are haven't done yet.Allof the students are free to join the different contests.In the last week of September,student winner's in the different activities will announce and recognize during the flag ceremony.
It is important to celebrate this kind of celebration to widen the knowledge of the student body and for them to become aware with Science.

AUGUST:The Celebration of the Buwan ng Wika

This year's theme for the nationwide celebration of the Buwan ng Wika is"WIKANG FILIPINO:MULA BALER HANGGANG SA BUONG BANSA".One reason that this was the theme was that Baler was the birthplace of the "Ama ng Wikang Pambansa"no other than Manuel L. Quezon.Filipino Club lined up a series of activities to mark the celebration.Different contests have done.
The celebration has for it's theme;WIKANG FILIPINO MULA BALER HANGGANG SA BUONG BANSA.Poster making contest,tagisan ng talino,balagtasan,sabayang pagbigkas,pagkukwento etc. are some of the contests done during the month of August.Many students participated in the different activities.In the last week of August,student winner's in the different activities were recognized and announced during the flag ceremony.
It is important to celebrate this kind of occassion to convince and acknowledge students that using and loving our language is very important.We must know the history of our own native language.

MY LEARNINGS DURING THE FIRST QUARTER IN T.L.E

There are many learnings that I have learned during the first quarter in Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) IV such as the history and all about this called Internet.I have learned more about the World Wide Web popularly known as www (or w3).Also i have encountered all about Blog and how to create a blog.Some of the lessons are the introduction of the Hypertext Mark-up Language or html,the search engines and search terms.
The problems or the challenges that I have encountered was memorizing all the Internet Timelines,I was very confused for all the dates and happening during the creating of the Internet.The problem also that I haved encountered was in making my blog,I was very confused and nervous during that time.I was hardly new and encounter that certain kind of thing because I knew only a little about computer and I feel I was ignorant.The challenges that I also faced was the last activity we had about researching a given question to us by our teacher and our project that relates to the livelihood of the places in Vigan.Also in making our draft to be posted in my blog.
I address this challenges by making to know more about computer and to study hard more.I will listen at all times to my teacher while she was discussing.

Right Way of Speaking English or Filipino

We all know that English is our national language and Filipino is the national language of our country.All of us must speak properly with kindliness English and Filipino.
Tagalog is the main dialect spoken in the Philippines.Being able to speak English i the Philippines looked upon a being a well educated person,but it is not only the basis of speaking English ,it is how you use it with proper manner.This two languages must use or must be spoken properly with kaindliness.When we speak with other people whether English or Filipino with kindliness ,it is one way to them to defined our identity.Sometimes the way we talk with the other people is a judgement for them to our true personality.Speaking English or Filipino properly with kindliness is also important way to strenghten our bonds with others,to improve our relationship to the other persons.
In everyday of our life,we should speak this two languages in the right and correct manner.

JULY:THE CELEBRATION OF THE NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

Nutrition is the sum of processes by which an organism recieves nutrients from its environment and uses them for its vital activities.Ocne a year ,when the month of July begins,it is the start of the Nutrition Month Celebration.Its like a tradition that we should do.Step club have lined up a series of activities to mark the occasion.Different contest will be done.

The celebration has for its theme:WASTONG NUTRITION AY KAILANGAN,LIFESTYLE DISEASE AY IWASAN.Poster makaing contest,mural painting contest,nutri quiz, food fest,cook fest and nutri jingle are those of some contests that the students will be joining.some of this activities are have already been done.The students is encourage to join the remaining activities such as the nutri jingle,it will be held at the ISNHS centennial gymnasium.The food festival was done a few days ago.Before the month of July ends,winners of the different contests will be recognize and announce during the flag ceremony.

It is important to celebrate this kind of celebration/occasion to acknowledge and convince students like me to eat nutritious foods and not those junk foods and fatty foods.Having a good nutrition body will also help us to extend our life span.for the improvement of this celebration ,next year I suggest that there should be a guestspeaker or spokeperson who will come to our school to lecture the students and also teachers all about the theme of the nutrition month celebration.
